Who you’ll be dealing with

I’m based in Pergo, Cortona, close to the Umbrian border and Lake Trasimeno.

I first lived in Italy in the early 1990s, studying Italian at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia and working in construction and project management on rural property restorations for overseas owners in Umbria.

After returning to the UK, I ran my own software engineering company for 25 years, delivering long-term systems for facilities management and construction businesses — where inspection discipline, reporting and follow-through were critical.

Alongside this, I’ve continued hands-on property work, carrying out my own extensions, renovations and maintenance projects, and in 2012 I purchased my own property in Cortona.

In 2026, I decided to return permanently to Italy and establish Property Care & Inspection Services, combining local presence, construction experience and rigorous inspection/reporting — specifically for English-speaking owners of second homes.

I’m fully fluent in Italian and English, and I work with a trusted network of qualified local professionals for any regulated or certified trade work.
